So my entireeeee Art Journey began in School, in (i think?) September of 2021, when i was just a little sprite editor! I didnt reallyyy create sprites, i only just plastered sprites around the place, and it was all for a "Rayman 4" video fangame concept (I was a major Rayman fan at this time lol).

These two pictures are the only surviving pieces i have of this cancelled fangame plan, it was intended to be a major game and i clearly had ambition here. But nowadays i see this as just laughable, and im glad i moved on to something more original and something i made myself.

The next genuine step in my small little Art Journey would be actually learning how to make art OUTSIDE of pixel art!

With me still being a general Rayman fan at this time, i thought he would be the perfect way to start this type of arting. Little tip for possible beginner artists seeing this, DONT DO THIS!! You can like Rayman and ofc learn to draw him one day, but dont use him a starting block since its VERY important to learn drawing limbs and posing as an Artist! Believe me, i would know.

I should probably mention at this point that ive been mainly doing this art at school, since i didnt have a phone or a computer at this time and i had to use a mouse for all of the art done here. This very early Art was also done in JS Paint, a choice that very much helped me with defining my own style in the future, and i wouldnt have it any other way.

After awhile of drawing, i felt like i was getting used to JSPaint and drawing with a mouse. And THENNNNNN school ended for me that year. And unfortunately, it seemed like the end of my early drawing Journey.

UNTILLLLL i pushed forward, not wanting to give up on Art! I had a Nintendo Wii U at this time, and since it was the most powerful console i owned (and ofc the gamepad being a great drawing tablet), i thought id try getting an Art Program on the Nintendo Wii U. Crazy, i know. But i eventually actually found one, that being PixelMaker Studio, and while there is no information of this program online, i doubt thatll change anytime soon. I tried Art Academy Studio (I think thats what its called?), but i didnt like how the style looked. And it kinda navigated weirdly. So i tried PixelMaker Studio more, and thats when i had a breakthrough. PixelMaker Studio looked almost JUST like my drawings on JS Paint, and since it was easier to use, i stuck with it! And stuck with it, i did! For the entire year of 2022, i stuck with PixelMaker Studio on the Wii U. I admittedly think i genuinely improved here with my Art skills, but i think i was really limited and couldnt improve for much longer in the Program.

If there is one thing im glad that happened, it was me creating my own original character on PixelMaker Studio. You may not know her, but she's the main character of my original series! Her name is Ziker!! I will definitely share more details about her once i actually draw her more, just you wait!! ;]

And now, im finally here. In 2023, with a new Art program, IBSPaint! And with it recapturing my artstyle of the previous program, i dont think ill ever be moving from it anytime soon! I think ive come a somewhat long way ever since JSPaint in late-2021. Ive still got LOTTSS to learn, ofc! But for what ive gone through, i think ive improved alot. I believe ill still continue to make art for as long as im alive honest!
